Description

Mobile bulk ship loader (also called as long travelling ship loader) is capable of loading ships on one side of the wharf and travelling along two paralleled tracks.

 

Another type of mobile bulk ship loader can serve on either side of a projected wharf, equipped with slewing boom and travelling along two paralleled tracks. It is suitable for bulk material vessel-loading operations in bulk terminals and dedicated terminals of power plants and other terminals. The materials to be handled include one cement, coal and corn. The machines are designed and supplied to suit for cargo vessels with capacity ranging from 3000 tons to 100,000 tons.

NHI’s ship loaders of this kind are designed with retractable boom structures, offering great variability for boom slewing radius. A telescopic chute is equipped at the boom tip, which consists of the tube, telescopic mechanism, rotary mechanism and material throwing plate. The tube is composed of a number of sections. The chute is able to retract to its starting state due to the traction of steel rope and release due to gravity. The coordinative movement of tube rotary unit, elbow swinging unit, tube swinging unit and boom telescopic mechanism can meet the balanced-loading requirements and suit for vessels of different types.
